Millions of Americans receive a tax refund year after year. According to data from the IRS, between 70 and 75% of those who file their taxes get a refund, with the typical refund amounting to between $2,500 and $3,000. Contrary to many people's beliefs, this isn't free money. This money was entitled to you all along, you just overpaid your taxes throughout the year. In this episode, I discuss why I'm not a fan of tax refunds and why you should consider adjusting your withholdings to avoid getting one. Enjoy!
